Proofreading, QA, and linguistic testing are always part of the translation process done at Promova.  On occasion, you might want us to check the work of others for correctness and consistency.  For example, if a layout was done by non-natives, or if software was engineered in-house without being approved by language professionals. These are examples where proofreading, editing or, at least, quality assurance should be done without fail.

Don't take any chances that your product may enter a foreign market without being checked for flaws, even if you are positive the translation was done perfectly. There are widespread mistakes in the spelling of Russian and Ukrainian words during layout because of inappropriately chosen fonts or incorrect copy-paste operations. There are certain standards for formatting text strings in software applications which may also be missed by non-native engineers. Such nuances are minor but taking them into account would make your product look and feel better for customers in the target country.
